WHAT IS TEMPORARY SUSPENDED ACCESS?
Suspended access cradles are a flexible, safe and cost effective method of access. A suspended access cradle system consists of a working platform fitted with man riding hoists and a safety device that climbs steel wire rope which is attached to a suspension system, often mounted on the roof. However, there are a range of different options dependent on the structure or the application. Cradles can be used on a range of structures including;
- Commercial buildings (Offices, shopping centres, warehouses)
- Industrial structures (Storage tanks, factories)
- Offshore installations (Light houses, oil rigs, sea walls, and jetties)
- Stadium and entertainment venues
- Energy installations (Power stations, hydroelectric, wind turbines)

- Residential buildings
- Monument, heritage and historical restoration sites
Once in place, a range of different tasks can be carried out from the working platform including cladding, construction, painting, glazing and maintenance.

We provide a truly nationwide service with 5 rigging centres spread across the UK, supported by our centrally located maintenance and engineering facility in Grantham.
