Zarafa Cradle Maintenance have been providing specialist cradle maintenance services for over 35 years. With purpose built facilities in London, Manchester and Grantham, we offer a truly nationwide service. Our focus on cradle systems has enabled us to build a portfolio of several hundred customers who rely on our engineers to ensure their equipment operates safely and efficiently.

OUR SERVICES
ROUTINE MAINTENANCE
Zarafa offer routine maintenance on all types of equipment to ensure that your equipment is working safely and efficiently. A preventative maintenance regime aims to protect your machinery from unnecessary wear, damage or malfunction. As well as sustaining the condition of the equipment during the course of its life, it also ensures machine uptime, so reducing delays to carrying out repairs or window cleaning.
REPAIR
Zarafa offer a comprehensive repair service on all types of equipment. This ranges from the replacement of an individual limit switch, wire rope or control panel to track repairs, LG3 works and a complete refurbishment.
Zarafa cradle maintenance operations have been in place for over 30 years and in that time, Zarafa have built up the knowledge, experience and a supply chain to ensure you receive the best support possible.
INSPECTION & TEST
Access systems are subject to statutory inspection and certification requirements. Our services incorporate all relevant British Standards and regulations where applicable, including BS 6037, BS EN1808, EN795, Lifting Operations and Lifting Equipment Regulations 1998 (LOLER) and Provision and Use of Work Equipment Regulations 1998 (PUWER).
Cloud based mobile engineer software provides prompt and comprehensive certification for the customer.
CALLOUTS
We provide a callout service should your equipment require urgent attention. Coverage is nationwide using locally based engineers in Manchester and London.
TRAINING
Zarafa Cradle Maintenance can provide user training on the safe use of the site specific Suspended Access Equipment (SAE). The structured course will cover the main requirements to ensure the user can carry out their work in a safe, structured and orderly manner. On completing the training, successful trainees will be issued with a photographic certificate.
REFURBISHMENT
If a replacement machine is not the preferred route, Zarafa can also offer a refurbishment service on existing machines.
Zarafa can carry out an in depth condition survey of your equipment and recommend a number of options to keep your equipment operating efficiently and safely.
INSTALLATION
As UK distributor for Skygondola, Zarafa can design, supply and install BMU systems to a new building or to replace an existing machine. Zarafa's in house design and engineering team work closely with Skygondola to provide a product suitable for our customer's needs in line with the latest British and European Standards.
Zarafa will project manage the design, manufacture, installation, testing and commissioning of the system. Zarafa's specialist team of installers have many years experience across a wide range of projects.
