Fall Protection Team Leader
Well established and expanding maintenance business looking for a Fall Protection Team Leader to join the team to cover geographical region of Southern England.
We are looking for a Fall Protection Team Leader with working at height or mechanical background/experience to carry out maintenance & install tasks from our base in London. The role will require you to take lead on inspection, maintenance, repair and installation services of access and safety equipment located on buildings. As well as the on-site maintenance tasks, it would also involve production of site paperwork using tablets and communicating with the office team and members of the customer staff. The role would involve understanding mechanical aspects of the equipment. Equipment varies from site to site bringing variety to your working day.
Job Specification
As a Fall Protection Team Leader, you will be working alone & with other technicians, providing maintenance services and repairs to fall protection equipment on buildings. Work is predominantly carried out across London and the South East but expected travel further afield.
You must be able to demonstrate previous experience working in a similar type of position and have a methodical, logical and practical approach to your work. This is a fast-paced, interesting and busy role so enthusiasm, flexibility, a willingness to learn, initiative, the ability to multi-task and a desire to achieve deadlines are essential.
Requirements of the Fall Protection Team Leader position;
• You must be able to work at height.
• Previous experience of working at height desired.
• Job role includes early site starts and weekend work.
• Must be willing to be involved in company supported education and training programme.
• Travel around UK essential.
Tasks would include;
• Inspection and testing requirements using gauges and other tools.
• Fault finding and reporting back on safe means of repairs.
• Installation of fall protection equipment to relevant British Standards.
• Using a variety tools to carry out maintenance and repair works on mechanical equipment on site.
• Completing paperwork and collecting equipment information.

Salary negotiable upon experience.
