Belfast City Hospital - BMU replacement
Zarafa was commissioned to design, supply, and install a replacement Building Maintenance Unit (BMU) for Belfast City Hospital.
Our specialist team collaborated closely with the client and NHS from the early stages to deliver a system that aligned seamlessly with the building’s overall access strategy, ensuring safe and reliable maintenance access without compromising aesthetics.
Zarafa's engineering and project management team progressed from initial design, through manufacture, factory testing, craneage through to installation, commissioning and ultimately handover to the client. This challenging project required deep collaboration and attention to detail in order to suit the buildings unique facade.
As a result, this was recognised by the client, Flynn being awarded Healthcare Infrastructure Project of the Year at the CEFAwards25!
