Gantry system in Edinburgh
WAVERLEY GATE BESPOKE GANTRIES
The Grade A listed building in Edinburgh – Waverley Gate – required a unique approach to façade access. There were no existing systems, nor provisions for any systems to be installed to enable unobstructed access to the external fabric of the building.
The team at Zarafa with the backing of the client and the consultant (Time Consultancy) have designed, manufactured, installed, tested and commissioned three bespoke gantries with abseiling anchor points on them to enable access to the most challenging faces of the building. The systems are now in full use with support of the Zarafa maintenance team for ongoing servicing.
