BMU Installation on CIS Tower
ZARAFA INSTALL BMU SYSTEM ON ICONIC CIS TOWER IN MANCHESTER
The Zarafa team in Manchester recently completed the replacement of a BMU system on CIS Tower in Manchester.
The existing machine required replacement and Zarafa were selected as long term maintenance providers to the current equipment, to supply a new machine. Our design team worked closely with our equipment partners, Sky Climber Inc, to provide a system to suit the building and track set up. This included a double deck platform to suit the building's PV facade.
On completion of manufacture, it was delivered to site for immediate lifting on to the roof using a mobile crane capable of lifting to 29 storeys. Zarafa also arranged removal and disposal of the old system at the same time.
The equipment was then installed and commissioned by the Zarafa team and will be supported by a routine maintenance service carried out by the local Zarafa cradle engineers.
